Tezula Plants

The Mission

A lifelong orchid enthusiast, the founder of Tezula Plants eventually concluded that mainstream products for orchids and other exotic plants fell short of peak quality. He started making his own fertilizers and growing mediums, eliciting enough success that he added them to his plant e-commerce site. They contacted us to design a brand identity for a whole family of botanical products.

What We Did

Brand Identity and Packaging Design
Our team of designers collaborated to extend the Tezula brand identity for use in packaging, creating bold modern graphics and striking color swatches. Once approved for a fertilizer bag, we applied this new identity to more bag sizes, fertilizer jar labels, and soil blends. Particular colors distinguish certain blends of fertilizer across their range of products, enabling customers to easily order their favorites.

Each fertilizer blend provides a different blend of nutrients suited for particular plants or situations. The brand identity we devised allows customers to easily distinguish particular formulas across a range of options. Supplementary products like the growing mediums, utilize a related but distinct design to clearly identify them as part of the Tezula family 
of products.

Product offerings

As Tezula Plants expands their product offerings, the packaging family too grows and adapts to new forms. For example, the designs were easily applied to the new jarred fertilizer and soil mix bags.
